Applications Coming up...!

So here we go...

                   We're now getting started in this whole new world for us...Developping Applications for the iPhone.

The thing is to make you live with us this experience so that anyone can see, even if we're beginning from the scratch (and I mean Really!), it is possible to learn by yourself and distribute app from the, now famous, Apple App Store.  So here's the story.

Te begin with, here's a little bio of me. My name is Francois Harvey and I'm studying consumerism at Laval University in Quebec.  So, as you've probably already see, my native language is french and not english. I'm now 23 and I now feel like it's time, after reading all these succes story about the AppStore, to give it a shot. Ok let's make it clear, i'm not aiming the "million downlaod on the first week thing", all i want is to have some apps to sale on the AppStore.  So here I am, in Quebec City, knowing nothing about programming, trying to do something.

It's now time to find a partner. Maybe somone knowing a little about programming would be a good idea...ohh i don't know any..maybe someone having a mac would be a good idea!..don't know any..well let's ask Pierre-luc Laliberte if he wants to jump in.. that's a good idea since he doesn't know a thing about programming and doesn't even own a Mac!

Pierre-Luc studies Phys. Ed at UQAC (Quebec University in Chicoutimi) and doesnt know what "Objective-C" means. But he doesn't give a damn and he's ready to learn and code all summer long.

So here we are, both of us, without a Mac computer and knowing nothing about objective-c programming, ready to rock the AppStore. You'll be able to follow our journey through this blog and see what we have to do to get started. From buying a Mac to having our application in the AppStore!
