iPhone developer's Journey

Hi,
Just a quickpost here because there's not much more to say since the last post. I'm still reading my book, and I should be done reading it twice by the end of the week-end. Oh and I should be receiving my MacMini by tomorrow too...Well I hope so.

So I'm doing this quickpost only because i found this video on youtube called "iPhone OS 3.0 in 10 minutes". The title says it all. Its an edited video of the press conference Apple did on March 17th.  The 1hour 30 minutes presentation in a 10 minutes format. (There is also a discussion about the release of the SDK 3.0 beta 4 in the Forum section)  I liked the idea because...well because it's always nice if you can save on time! Here it is

That's it! I'm done with school for this year until september. Now the real deal begins. I've worked a lot on the website since the last post and it seems to give a little results. First, I've added a forum section so anybody, if they register (which takes about 10 seconds to do) will be able to post question or comments that we, Pierre-Luc and I, can answer personnally (My user name is iFrancois). So don't be shy and ask anything it will be a pleasure for us to answer by doing anything we can to give you useful informations.

Nothing really new here other than still waiting for my MacMini to arrive and being overwhelmed by all tests at school. Anyway I hope I'll receive my computer early next week. Also, as you've probably already seen by reading the homepage, I found a partner to work on the project with me. Pierre-Luc will join me and this will take away a little pressure off my shoulder for the financing and all.

That's it, it's the first day of this journey. I've got some money left from my last summer job and that's a good thing because i'll have to buy a bunch of things if I want to get Started.  Three things are obvious. First i Have to order a mac so I went to Apple's website to chek out their stuff. After reading a couple reviews on the web, like this one http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/gamesblog/2009/feb/10/gameculture-apple, i decided to order the cheapest MacMini available. I've add 1gb of ram so I now have 2gb. I decided to use all the PCs stuff i alreay have to make it run like my screen, keyboard and mouse. This way it cost me less and if i have trouble with anything then i'll buy Mac acessories. 817$ are now gone away. I can't go back anymore. I should receive it in about 2 weeks so around May 4th.
